Who we are
Yassine and Issam, two Moroccans telling their country's story
Plan My Morocco is the two of us. Not an agency, not a far-away newsroom: two Moroccans who wanted to build the site they wished they had found.
Where we come from
We are Moroccan, and we have travelled: around the world, and around our own country, from the medinas of the north to the tracks of the south. Travelling elsewhere taught us to see Morocco through the eyes of someone arriving.
What we saw
Everywhere, the same thing. Travellers missing what matters for lack of reliable information, paying three times the price of a taxi, unsure what to eat or when to go. And, on the other side, guides written by people who only know Morocco on the surface.
What we decided
To tell Morocco the way you tell a friend: its history and its cities, its dishes, its Darija words, its real prices, and its traps too. And to give everyone, in two minutes and without signing up, an itinerary that fits them. Our aim is simple: for Plan My Morocco to become the reference for knowing Morocco and travelling there.
How we work
- We write what we know, and we check the rest: historical dates, opening hours, prices.
- When a date is uncertain, we give the century rather than invent a year.
- We only publish a reference price once it has been confirmed on the ground.
- Some illustrations are generated by artificial intelligence; we say so.
- Links to our booking partners earn us a commission at no extra cost to you, and never change our advice.
Our promise
- ✓ Free, no sign-up needed to plan.
- ✓ As little data about you as possible.
- ✓ A real answer when you write to us.
